Bio-descriptions



Paul Barrett a.k.a. Gnugnuška ska lives in Ontario Canada and is an outdoors enthusiast who enjoys fishing, hiking and self-reliance. Current pursuits include learning more about wild edibles and medicinals, primitive weapons and traps, off grid living and homesteading. Living more in tune with the natural world is his constant focus. Pictured Top Left

Dawi a.k.a. Huhamaza (Ironlegs) is a lineal descendant of the Mdewakantonwan Dakota people, and his passion is the pursuit of a resurgence of culture lost in the stampede of the last 150 years. His specialty is bowmaking, under the tutelage of Jamie Burleigh and every dusty piece of information he can consume. He loves all aspect of traditional lifestyle, from wild foods to stories and lore, and likes sleeping under the trees when he can swing it. Pictured Top Right

Michael Christopher Taylor a.k.a. Long Knife lives in Vanceboro, NC where he practices his blade craft and survival skills. He has passion for all different style blades and firearms, most forthright machetes. Anyone that knows him will call him obsessed to find his perfect chopper. He is very adept at sharpening blades and is on a quest to improve his honing skills. He loves reptiles of all kinds. Pictured Bottom Left

Jamie Burleigh a.k.a. Bowguy lives in Port Huron MI. with his wife and 5 children where he teaches and practices primitive and neo-primitive sustainment skills, along with archery, both traditional and modern. He is an author for many outdoor publications, and does lectures on survival and primitive living skills. Pictured Bottom Right
